In this photo released by Ecuador’s Geophysics Institute, the Tungurahua volcano, located about 135 kilometers (80 miles) southeast of Quito, erupts in the late hours of Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2007.
After almost 6 months of relevate calm, Mount Tungurahua seems to be reawaking in the first days of 2010.
